After seven years at our location in Santa Fe Springs, Lloyd’s Layouts is making a move to a new studio location in Paramount, California. The new location allows easier access to our work area for our clients and a more productive working environment. It will take us a few more weeks to get organized and we hope to post photos of the new studio at that time. To our current clients, thank you for your patience and support during this move and we hope to be back in production very soon.

Shotgun Tom Kelly’s HO Layout Video
Wow! Shotgun’s layout is installed and we are so fortunate have to Jhani K. produce a fantastic layout video and bring the layout to life. We love the time lapse video of the construction! What a great idea to keep the build video diary; the end result is amazing. Thanks again Shotgun for your vision on your layout content and design and for Jhani’s vision to capture the full representation of Shotgun’s vision. Enjoy this video work of art.
Layouts on Display at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library
We are honored to be able to display three separate layouts designed and built Lloyd’s Layouts during the 2018 Holiday Season at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. The displays included our O Gauge Christmas Layout built in 2011 running two separate trains and displaying various ceramic buildings including Santa’s house, workshop and elf and reindeer village. A second O Gauge layout, donated by the family of John Maier runs 3 separate trains provided lots of train operation for visitor’s enjoyment. The third layout is the HO layout provided by the Orange County Fairgrounds. This layout has been constructed over the past three years and features farming and agriculture throughout the State of California. In addition a fourth layout, previously constructed for the library, is also displayed. This layout is huge as in up to 10 feet high with six different trains, gauges from G scale, O scale and On30, operating at the same time. There is plenty to see and enjoy on this quality layout as well. Check out the video of the coverage of the All Aboard, America, the Holiday Train Display with Gayle Anderson of KTLA.
